1. What Primus is

Primus is a platform for recording, verifying, and sharing youth sports performance data and for registering authenticated sports equipment. These terms govern your use of the Primus website and services.

2. Who can use Primus

• Adults (18+) may create any account type.
• Athletes 13 to 17 may create an athlete account. Their profile is private until a linked parent or guardian approves public visibility.
• Children under 13 may not create an account. A parent or legal guardian creates and manages the child's profile and makes all privacy decisions for it.
• Coaches may request coach access, which is reviewed by Primus before roster and verification tools are enabled.

You must provide an accurate date of birth. Misrepresenting age to bypass these rules is grounds for account removal.

3. Parents and guardians

By creating or linking to a child's profile you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and that you have authority to consent on their behalf. You can review, change, or withdraw your consent, export the child's data, or request deletion at any time from your guardian dashboard or Settings.

4. Accuracy and verification

Stats you enter are labeled by who entered them and whether a coach has verified them. Do not enter statistics you know to be false. Coaches who verify stats are confirming they believe the numbers to be accurate. Primus may mark entries as disputed or rejected and may remove accounts that repeatedly submit false data.

5. Equipment registration and transfers

Registering a product links it to your account and records that event in a tamper-evident history. Transfers require the recipient to accept. Primus records provenance; it does not guarantee the condition or performance of any item.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access other users' data or bypass privacy settings.
• Do not harass, impersonate, or contact minors outside the channels Primus provides.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, or resell data from Primus.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Primus the right to store, display, and process it as needed to operate the service and as allowed by your privacy settings.

8. Termination

You can request deletion of your account at any time from Settings. Primus may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or put other users, especially minors, at risk.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Primus is provided as is during its pilot period. To the extent permitted by law, Primus is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Final language for this section will be set by counsel.

10. Changes

We will notify account holders by email and in-app before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
